These are some samples of my commercial graphic design work.

On many of my jobs, the actual design is the smallest part of the job (which is not to say that it's not essential, and satisfying). Prior to undertaking actual design, I often work with the client to define and develop their brand, on their plans for marketing, message development and deployment, and on strategic development and implementation of outreach via traditional and digital media. After design is completed, a large part of most jobs is project management, which is a specialty of mine.

My underlying belief is that all design’s primary purpose must be to capture the reader/potential customer’s attention and facilitate clear communication – pretty design is not enough. People are busy. No one has enough time. My job is always to investigate how the project I’m working on is going to help my client “sell” more whatever, or generate more people interested in being “sold.” Then it's my job to design materials that do exactly that – with something that looks nice, too.
